Whether you are an experienced alpinist or a beginning mountaineer, the benefits of the light & fast approach are indisputable.
Being lighter means using less energy with every step we take and more comfortable when we are in motion.
This clinic covers the most important aspects of the light & fast approach, moving in the mountains and multi-pitch climbing.
This is an advanced level clinic. A high level of fitness and comfort on WI4 ice is required.
Note: participants will NOT be leading. All students will be on a top rope.

This is an advanced class requiring a high level of fitness and previous ice climbing experience.
Light & Fast Alpinism is a topic near and dear to us. The Light & Fast Alpinism clinic is designed to go deeper into the skills, strategies and tactics that help us distill the big mountains down to something we can climb faster and safer, ultimately allowing us to set our sights ever higher.
Each clinic features the theory and head space behind Light & Fast followed by a day traveling around in the mountains finding and climbing pitches where we will be able to focus on hands-on skills and tactics.

Clinic Cost:
Clinic cost includes world-class instruction, gear demos, Does NOT include Movies or Sunday dinner, these need to be purchased.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy:
We have a new cancellation policy with a re-stocking fee for cancellations before 11:59pm MST on November 20th. If you are unfortunate enough to get injured, get elected to Congress, go into witness protection, or decide surfing in Costa Rica is more your thing and you are not able to make it Bozeman for the Ice Festival: no problem. We will partially refund your clinic purchase for a $50 re-stocking fee. After 11:59pm MST on November 20th, all clinic sales are final. Note, clinics are non-transferable.
