Personal Information

We do not collect any personal information from a visitor to our site unless that visitor explicitly and intentionally provides it. By signing up, I give my permission for my name and/or picture to be used in broadcasts, telecasts, newspapers, and information purposes of BIF and other event sponsors including but not limited to: Friends of Hyalite, Emerson Cultural Center, City of Bozeman, United States Forest Service, Bozeman Chamber of Commerce,  American Alpine Club, Access Fund, Arc’teryx, Argon Inc, Black Diamond, Camp/Cassin, CiloGear, Hyperlite Mountain Gear, Mystery Ranch, Julbo Sunglasses, La Sportiva, Liberty Mountain, Lowa Boots, Mammut, Patagonia, Petzl, RAB, Scarpa, Sherpa Adventure Gear, Smart Wool, Sterling Ropes, The North Face, UIAA, Zeal Sunglasses, Bridger Brewing, Montana Alpine Guides, and Montana Mountaineering Association.

The laws of the state of Montana will govern this agreement and I consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts sitting in Helena, Montana. If there is a dispute between the parties relating to this document, the party substantially prevailing will be entitled to recover all costs and expenses of any subsequent proceedings (including trial, appellate, and arbitration proceedings), including attorney fees incurred therein. By paying for these services, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property damaged during my participation in this activity, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against BIF on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein. I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, all the parts shall be given full affect to the extent possible. I have read and understand it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.

Your Ability to Opt-Out of Further Notifications, and Update or Correct Your Personal Information

From time-to-time, we notify our subscribers of new information, events, announcements, and updates. If you would like to opt-out of being notified, please contact us at the address given at the end of this Privacy Statement. In email communications from our Distribution List(s), we will provide a link at the end of each email which will allow you to update your personal information, or remove yourself from the mailing list.
