A half day clinic in the Mountain Project’s brand new mixed climbing cave. This clinic is meant to be an introduction to tool placement techniques and can be coupled with any of our up-canyon clinics to take your technique to the next level.

Skill Level:
Intermediate climbers, rock or ice. Some previous ice climbing experience will allow you to learn more from this class. Mixed climbing is a necessary skill set for climbing in the mountains. This clinic is designed to give you an introduction to the medium and give you the skills to make your way though this type of terrain. Topics covered include:
Basic mixed climbing technique
Advanced tool placements
Anyone already possessing the basics of ice climbing technique with some experience leading or following ice climbs.

Clinic Cost:
Clinic cost includes world-class instruction, gear demos, Does NOT include Movies or Sunday, these need to be purchased.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy:
We have a new cancellation policy with a re-stocking fee for cancellations before 11:59pm MST on November 20th. If you are unfortunate enough to get injured, get elected to Congress, go into witness protection, or decide surfing in Costa Rica is more your thing and you are not able to make it Bozeman for the Ice Festival: no problem. We will partially refund your clinic purchase for a $50 re-stocking fee. After 11:59pm MST on November 20th, all clinic sales are final. Note, clinics are non-transferable.
